This education workshop will cover burn assessment, management of minor and major burns, burn dressings, principles of plastic and reconstructive surgery (including grafts and flaps), wound assessment, selecting appropriate wound care products, factors influencing wound healing, debridement techniques, and negative pressure wound therapy. An Introduction to Orthodontics This session will explore the role of orthodontic intervention as an important component of primary care, including the risks associated with untreated dental issues, impacts on speech, and appropriate referral pathways. Presented by Dr Gavin Brown, Specialist Orthodontic Practitioner with over 22 years working experience in specialist Oral and Maxillofacial departments in hospitals in the UK, Canada, Ireland and Australia.
