Meet our Regional Program Officer for the Kimberley Health Professionals Network (KHPN), Sara Hennessy.
With a degree in science and post graduate diploma in business management, Sara has been living in the Kimberley for over 23 years. Sara is an avid angler, former president of both the Broome and Mary Island (Derby) Fishing clubs and creator and presenter of West Kimberley Women’s Fishing Clinics. Sara also is a passionate fitness instructor, dancer/performer, mother to two pretty amazing teenage human beings, partner to a really good bloke and owns a Kelpie called Pepper who is incredibly energetic!
As the regional program officer, Sara will be assisting with the coordination and delivery of professional development activities and helping to create social networking opportunities for health professionals and their families.
The KHPN will bring together health professionals from all specialties to network, socialise, develop their professional skills and share referral pathways. Overall, the KHPN aims to improve patient care, enhance education and training opportunities, and support the attraction and integration of health professionals living in the Kimberley.
