The two day course will be facilitated by a team of experienced emergency physicians with extensive pre course materials including a USB of the course skills and drills being provided to each participant prior to attending. The REACT+ course includes medical emergencies, major trauma and cardiac arrest in children and adults as well as associated lifesaving procedural skills training. It is highly interactive and participants are predominantly involved in emergency skills stations and simulated scenarios. Workshop details This Rural Health West CPD workshop, presented by leading specialists in their field, has been designed to offer practising rural medical practitioners an update in toxicological emergencies. This one-day workshop stream covers general and specific topics related to poisoning and local toxicology, using an interactive tutorial format concentrating on small group discussions of case scenarios. Rural Health West and The Kimberley Health Professionals Network would like to invite you to join us for a wound care workshop event presented by Beth Sperring (clinical nurse consultant) and Donna Larsen (nurse practitioner) from Royal Perth Bentley Group who will demonstrate how to assess and manage chronic and acute wounds.
