The Shire of Broome is inviting the community to join us for the official opening of the Town Beach Jetty, with an inclusive event to take place on the morning of November 6. The $6 million, 112-metre jetty’s completion is the final puzzle piece in the Town Beach Foreshore Redevelopment, with the Broome precinct overhauled in recent years. The event will start at 8.30am and involve activities for the whole community to enjoy, and an official ribbon cutting. Once opened, the jetty will provide the opportunity for fishing from land and improve accessibility to Roebuck Bay for those launching boats....
