Emergency Airway Skills (EAM) workshop – Port Hedland
This Rural Health West CPD workshop is designed to assist health professionals to develop and practise skills essential in unexpected crises, particularly with problem airways. Delivered in WA Country Health Service facilities, this workshop has a heavy emphasis on teamwork and the organisation of medical emergency teams incorporating presentations, skill stations and scenario-based crises with simulation manikins.
The workshop will include:
- Hands on simulation: practice common scenarios and structured care
- Short presentations by experienced Anaesthetists and Technicians
- Electronic resources
Date: Friday 18 February 2022
Time: 8.00am – 4.30pm
Venue: Hedland Health Campus – Learning and Development Rooms
Open to all GPs, ED Doctors & Nurses, Medical Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners. There will be limited places available in the workshop. Priority will be given to those living and working in the region.
All confirmed participants will receive written confirmation via email of their place in this workshop approximately 6-4 weeks prior to the workshop with information and materials posted once confirmed a place.
