Diabetes – Glucose Monitoring – Online

The Glucose Monitoring presentation will include time for questions and cover:
- Why monitor glucose is used in diabetes management.
- How to monitor glucose levels using the various options – blood glucose meter, continuous glucose monitoring, flash glucose monitoring and HbA1c pathology test
- The general times to monitor glucose check glucose level.
- The general target glucose range as recommended by the ADS/ADEA.
- The products subsidised by the NDSS to support glucose monitoring and how a person living with diabetes is able to access them.
- NDSS resources available for health professionals and people living with diabetes.
By the end of this program, you will feel confident discussing glucose monitoring with the people you who are see living with diabetes.
