HCC Excellence Awards information session

The Health Consumer Excellence Awards were created in 1997 to honour the everyday heroes in health in WA, for their significant contributions towards improving the patient experience.

We recognise those who go above and beyond to improve outcomes for health consumers across the state – from consumer representatives in all stages of their journeys, through to compassionate clinicians and health organisations leading the way in improving health inequities.

In 2022 we have several new categories to highlight the important role of consumer, carer, community, family and lived experience representatives, as well as the individuals and organisations championing diversity, equity, and person-centred healthcare.

In this session, we’ll go through the different categories and walk through the process of making a submission. The closing date for nominations is Sunday 13 March 2022.
