For more information\, please email\nKHPN Regional Program Officer Sara Hennessy at contact@khpn.com.au.\nPresenters Donna Larsen\, Wound Management Nurse Practitioner and Beth Sperring\, Clinical Nurse\nConsultant Plastic Surgery Telehealth\, both from Royal Perth Hospital. Topics for the study day will\ninclude wound healing and assessment\, identification of acute and chronic wound infection and\ntreatment\, biofilm based wound management\, wound hygiene\, dressing selection\, traumatic wounds\,\nplastic surgery considerations\, leg ulcers\, the high risk foot and case studies. Future trends in wound\nmanagement. There will be two practical workshops on wound debridement and topical negative\npressure wound therapy. Compression bandaging will be demonstrated.
