He currently provides specialist sports medicine\ncare in his Broome community. Dr Luies consults to the AFL on Indigenous health policy\, delivers sports cultural safety training\, and works with the West Coast Eagles\nwhile running Australia’s most remote sports medicine service. \nFREE PUBLIC EVENT\nSUPPORTED BY\nEDUCATION\nEVENT \nA must listen for all coaches\, athletes\, parents\, volunteers\, umpires or anyone with an interest in this topic.\nIn this presentation\, we will explore the key aspects of concussion – its causes\, symptoms and the importance\nof recovery\, focusing on its impact on individuals and incorporating insights from the new 2024 Australian\nConcussion Guidelines on prevention\, management and recovery strategies. \n
