DESCRIPTION:The Rural Health West CPD REACT+ workshop is designed to assist Western Australian Visiting Medical Practitioners to maintain their emergency knowledge and skills\, and gain formal assessment towards their emergency credentialing\, as required by WA Country Health Service. Covering medical emergencies\, major trauma and cardiac arrest in adults and children\, and associated lifesaving procedural skills training\, REACT+ is a highly interactive workshop. In a primary care setting\, it is very likely that individuals will have a CKD diagnosis that sits alongside diabetes and CVD. These three chronic conditions share many treatment goals and management strategies. DESCRIPTION:Neonatal Stabilisation and Transport Rediness (NeoSTARs) is a follow on course from NeoResus. This course\, which is created and delivered by neonatologists and neonatal nurse educators\, teaches current up to date evidence-based approaches to neonatal stabilisation. Course attendance will help you and your team to understand and master the basic skills required in the care of any sick newborn. As well as technical skills\, a high-performance team with strong supportive skills is necessary to deliver care in a safe and timely manner.
