National Mpox Webinar: Vaccination and Testing
There has been an increase of local mpox transmission rates in Australia, including regional WA. Testing is still imperative even in those who are vaccinated, as those who suffer milder disease may transmit it to someone without adequate protection, potentially leading to severe illness requiring hospitalisation. This webinar will discuss vaccination strategies, when to consider mpox as a differential diagnosis, and provide insights on clade 1b.
