JUNE TOPIC An Introduction to Orthodontics This session will explore the role of orthodontic intervention as an important component of primary care, including the risks associated with untreated dental issues, impacts on speech, and appropriate referral pathways. Presented by Dr Gavin Brown, Specialist Orthodontic Practitioner with over 22 years working experience in specialist Oral and Maxillofacial departments in hospitals in the UK, Canada, Ireland and Australia. With extensive experience teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level, Dr Brown also specalises in treating patients with dental anxiety problems, medical problems and patients with special needs.
